A weekly reset is a simple rhythm for getting back in control. It does not need to be long, fancy, or perfect. The purpose is to reduce mental clutter and make the next week easier to start.

Choose One Reset Window

Pick a repeatable time. Sunday evening works for some people, Friday afternoon works for others. The best time is the one you can protect.

Clear One Physical Area

Do not clean the entire house. Pick one desk, one bag, one counter, or one small pile. Visible order helps your brain stop scanning for unfinished business.

Review Your Open Loops

Write down unfinished tasks, appointments, bills, errands, and messages. Do not solve all of them. Just capture them so they stop floating around.

Pick Three Priorities

Three priorities are enough. If everything is a priority, nothing is. Choose the few things that would make the week feel meaningfully better.

Make the First Step Obvious

Every priority needs a first action. Not "fix my schedule," but "block Monday at 9 AM for planning." Smaller is stronger.

Keep It Gentle

A reset should help you breathe. If it becomes another stressful chore, reduce the scope.
