Digital clutter is quiet. It does not take up floor space, but it still pulls attention. Open tabs, unread emails, messy downloads, and constant notifications can make simple work feel heavier than it is.
Start With Notifications
Turn off anything that does not require immediate action. Most alerts are not emergencies. Your attention should not be rented out by every app.
Close the Old Tabs
If a tab has been open for days, make a decision: save it, act on it, or close it. Open tabs are often disguised anxiety.
Clean One Folder
Do not reorganize your whole computer. Start with Downloads or Desktop. Delete what is useless and move what matters into one clear folder.
Create a Parking Lot
Use one note for links, ideas, and things to revisit. This keeps your browser from becoming a memory system.
End With a Simple Rule
Every new tool, app, or system should earn its place. If it adds more noise than clarity, it does not belong.
